CHOOSE PAIRS ACROSS THE PYRAMID

Use your mouse to select matching free tiles in Mahjong Solitaire, working through a Shanghai-style stack of 144 pieces. Bamboo, circles, characters, winds, dragons, flowers, and seasons form the tile set, with each removal changing which pieces you can reach next. A tile cannot be selected while another tile rests above it or side blocking prevents access. Matching symbols are therefore only part of the task: both pieces must also be free before you can remove the pair.

How Do Tile Values Affect Scoring

The round has a ten-minute limit, making complete clearance a timed objective. You must remove every tile from the table before the countdown finishes. Scoring depends on the type of tiles you match. Seasons award the most points, followed by flowers, then dragons and winds, with the numbered suits below them. Mahjong Solitaire combines this scoring hierarchy with a layout that requires attention to the pairs each removal might expose.

Match Free Tiles and Open Routes

Find two accessible tiles with identical symbols, then use your mouse to select and remove them. Flowers can pair with other flowers, and seasons with other seasons, even when their artwork differs. Before you pick a pair, look at what is underneath it and at the tiles in its neighborhood that it covers. Remove available matches to expose more pairs, therefore think about how each option helps to destroy the existing stack.

TOWARD AN EMPTY TILE TABLE

Successful clearance depends on connecting immediate matches with later access. The timer adds a deadline, while different tile values give the available pairs distinct scoring roles.

The ten minute countdown is ticking , but you can deconstruct the pyramid in Mahjong Solitaire by selecting combinations that disclose your next matches.
