Forest Tiles turns block placement into a clever puzzle of space and strategy. Complete rows and columns, collect gold coins, and keep your board clear!

COINS ACROSS THE NINE BY NINE FIELD

Completing horizontal or vertical lines is the main objective in Forest Tiles, where blocks share a nine by nine playing field with several coins. Each placement needs to contribute to a full line across a row or down a column. The board’s fixed dimensions give you a defined area in which to arrange the available shapes. The central decision is where each block belongs within that space. Rather than treating a piece as an isolated placement, consider how it contributes to the horizontal and vertical lines you are assembling. A position that advances one line may also affect the space available for another block.

How Do the Three Blocks Fit

Three blocks appear to the left of the playing field. Place these blocks on the board to assemble a complete horizontal or vertical line. Consider their shapes together before deciding where each one belongs. In Forest Tiles, you can see all three blocks accessible before you place one. This gives a chance for deciding where they should go together. Match their forms with the places on the board and see which combinations could make up a line. This keeps the placement decision connected to the game’s stated objective.

Keep Gold Coins in Reserve

Gold coins provide two forms of assistance: resetting unnecessary blocks and continuing the game after a loss. These uses address different situations, allowing coins to support either a change to the available blocks or a continuation when a game has ended.

Block placement remains the main task, while coins offer a way to respond when the current situation needs changing. Plan your next complete line in Forest Tiles with the three available blocks in mind.
